Lasithi Prefecture, Crete, Greece

East of Crete is the prefecture of Lasithi. The county bordering the Libyan Sea, the Cretan and the Carpathian Sea and if you are looking for quiet holidays, clean beaches, monuments and traditional villages, you were in the right place!
The capital of the prefecture is Agios Nikolaos,  a well-organized tourist town with a beautiful harbor.

Located in the county is also Sitia. Palekastro a popular destination with great beaches and the palm forest of Vai, one of the most famous sights in the county.
