Antiparos Island, Cyclades, Greece

Antiparos is located in the eparchy of Naxos, Greece in the Cyclades Island group in the Aegean Sea. Antiparos is separated from the west coast of Paros by a narrow channel. The seashore is 57 km long, and the population is very scarce.

Most inhabitants of Antiparos live in the capital, Kastro on the northern coast. Kastro stands around the original nucleus of a medieval castle. Antiparos is famous for its beautiful sandy beaches, as well as its authentic natural beauty. Antiparos’ community actually includes several small outlying islands that are uninhabited, such as Despotiko and Stroggyli
