Europe is a diverse destination for your holiday. The architecture in Rome or the history of Athens, romance in Paris, hiking in Norway, sailing in the Netherlands.  It is all available in Europe. Geographical Europe is bound to the north by the Arctic Ocean, to the west by the Atlantic Ocean, to the south by the Mediterranean Sea, to the southeast by the Caucasus Mountains and the Black Sea and the waterways connecting the Black Sea to the Mediterranean. To the east, Europe is divided from Asia by the water divide of the Ural Mountains, the Ural river, and by the Caspian Sea.

The European Union (EU), comprising 27 member states, has the world’s largest economy with an estimated nominal GDP of 14.2 trillion USD (2006) accounting for 35% of world GDP.

Countries in the European Union:

Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, and Sweden.

Currently, there are several countries in Europe that are considered candidates to join the European Union (EU). These countries are at various stages of the accession process, and the timeline for their eventual entry into the EU is uncertain. The candidate countries are: Albania, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia and Turkey

In addition to these countries, there are also several potential candidates that have expressed interest in joining the EU in the future. These include: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo
